Image of MPS MP5042 Programmable E-Fuse The MP5042 from Monolithic Power Systems is a compact, high-performance e-fuse designed to protect sensitive electronics from input transients, output shorts, and overcurrent events. With a wide input voltage range of 4.2 V to 28 V and programmable current limiting from 25 mA to 2 A, the MP5042 offers flexible and reliable protection for a variety of power systems.

Its integrated 115 mΩ power MOSFET, adjustable soft-start via the DV/DT pin, and thermal shutdown with auto-retry make it ideal for space-constrained applications requiring robust power management. The MP5042 is available in a compact TSOT23-6 package, making it a perfect fit for portable and industrial designs.
