SICK FlexLock safety locking devices utilize RFID technology to safely monitor the entire 180° actuation radius. This technology also allows for high offset tolerances, ensuring simple installation even when door alignment is less than ideal. This flexibility is perfect for legacy machine doors, protective flaps, and situations with minimal door clearances for both machine OEMs and end-users. The highly visible status LEDs, open locking head design, and compatibility with SICK’s safe series connection technology provide an unmatched user experience versus a traditional door interlock. All variants of FlexLock provide up to performance level E (PL e) with low or high-coded actuators available.
