The resistors feature the ability to integrate an NTC thermistor inside the resistor package to enable direct temperature monitoring while applying power. Vishay also offers the option to deliver the resistors with a pre-applied phase-change thermal interface material to help streamline the installation of the resistor in production. The 120 W resistors can handle high energy pulses (110 J for 0.1 s, for example), are non-inductive, offered in values between 0.47 Ω and 1 MΩ in tolerances of 5% or 10%, and feature a 1,500 V operating voltage rating.
