Image of Kinetic Technologies KTB8400 Opticomp™ Buck Switching Regulator The Kinetic Technologies KTB8400 is a precision and unique OptiComp buck switching regulator with excellent accuracy, transient response, efficiency, and solution size optimized for mobile and non-mobile applications. It is I2C programmable for output voltages in the 0.6 V to 3.345 V range. It features soft-start and dynamic voltage scaling (DVS) with multiple programmable ramp rates. Versions with various default settings can be ordered. The features and performance make the KTB8400 suitable for a variety of applications, including CPU/GPU core, DSP and baseband, DDR memory, VIO, and sensor/analog power.

The KTB8400 is available in RoHS- and Green-compliant, 15-bump, 1.340 mm x 2.045 mm x 0.6 mm wafer-level chip-scale package (WLCSP).
