EPC's EPC9174KIT 1.2 kW 1/8th brick reference design board features 40 VIN to 60 VIN, 10 V to 15 V, and 100 A output
EPC's EPC9174KIT reference design board is a 1.2 kW, 48 V input to 12 V output LLC converter that operates as a DC transformer with a fixed conversion ratio of 4:1. It features the 100 V EPC2071 for the primary side full bridge, the uP1966E and LMG1020 gate drivers, and the Microchip dsPIC33CK32MP102 16-bit digital controller.
The GaN technology employed in this solution enables 1 MHz switching frequency and 1.2 kW of power in a small 22.9 mm x 58.4 mm x 10 mm size for a power density of 1472 W/in3.
