Logische uitgang optoisolators

Logische uitgangsoptoisolators gebruiken licht om informatie over een elektrische isolatiebarrière door te geven, gewoonlijk om veiligheids- of functionele redenen. Zij onderscheiden zich van andere opto-isolatoren door de integratie van extra uitgangsschakelingen voor versterking en drempeldetectie, die uitgangssignalen leveren die compatibel zijn met gangbare logische signaalniveaus. Deze extra schakelingen vereisen een externe voedingsbron voor een goede werking.
