SCR's

Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCR's) zijn apparaten met drie terminals die zich gedragen als gelijkrichterdiodes, met een extra mogelijkheid om de stroom in de voorwaartse richting te blokkeren totdat een regelsignaal wordt toegepast. Meestal gebruikt voor het regelen van de netvoeding, worden SCR's ook wel thyristors genoemd, hoewel deze laatste term soms ook wordt toegepast op andere gerelateerde apparaten.
