Kingston's DRAM components are designed to meet the needs of embedded devices and are available with low-voltage variants for reduced power consumption. Kingston automotive-temp discrete DRAM is designed to meet the needs of embedded applications that require an extended operating temperature range. It offers a low-voltage option for lower power consumption. The device's operating temperature range is -40°C ~ +105°C, making it an ideal memory solution for harsh environment, outdoor signage, surveillance, factory automation, transportation, server, touchscreen kiosks and other embedded applications with extreme environmental conditions.

- Available in 2 Gb and 4 Gb densities
- Double data rate architecture: two data transfers per clock cycle
- Operating case temperature ranges:
- 0°C to +95°C (commercial temperature)
- -40°C to +95°C (industrial temperature)
- -40°C to +105°C (automotive temperature)
- High-speed data transfer is realized by 8-bit prefetch pipelined architecture
- Bidirectional differential data strobe (DOS and /DQS) is transmitted/received with data for capturing data at the receiver
- DOS is edge-aligned with data for READS; center-aligned with data for WRITES
- Differential clock inputs (CK and /CK)
- DLL aligns DQ and DOS transitions with CK transitions
- Commands entered on each positive CK edge; data and data mask referenced to both edges of DQS
- Data mask (DM) for write data
- Posted/CAS by programmable additive latency for better command and data bus efficiency
- On-die termination (ODD for better signal quality)
- Synchronous ODT
