Schottky Bridge Rectifier

Micro Commercial Components' Schottky bridge rectifier devices are ideal for both first and second generation Power over Ethernet (PoE) designs as well as general purpose full wave ratification and reverse polarity protection applications. With low forward voltages, these devices are well suited for portable battery and high efficiency applications such as modems, routers, portable test equipment, and LED lighting systems.

The main advantages of these Schottky bridges are their reduced size and energy efficiency. The MBS-1 utilizes 50 percent less board space than four individual SMA rectifiers in a bridge configuration. For example, in terms of energy efficiency, the MB110S uses about 30 percent less energy to perform the same function as a standard bridge rectifier.
