MIE1W0505BGLVH Regulated DC/DC Module

The MPS MIE1W0505BGLVH is a compact, isolated, and regulated DC/DC module designed for applications requiring an input voltage (V_IN) range of 3 V to 5.5 V. It offers up to 1 W of output power (P_OUT) with excellent load and line regulation.

This module integrates power MOSFETs, a transformer, and a feedback (FB) circuit into a single chip, delivering superior performance while minimizing size. The MIE1W0505BGLVH provides a regulated output voltage (V_OUT). When V_OUT falls below the target level (3.3 V or 5 V), the module activates switching, transferring power from V_IN to V_OUT until the target voltage is restored.

A built-in V_OUT feedback block eliminates the need for a traditional optocoupler and a precision configurable reference IC, enabling reliable voltage regulation in a compact design. This innovative solution enhances reliability compared to conventional isolated power modules.
