Under the current Murata product line up, 6 A is the highest rated current offered; however, through innovative materials processing techniques, the BLM-SN series has now achieved from 8 A to 12 A in very small case size (EIA 0603 / 0805 / 1206, 1.6 mm x 0.8 mm x 0.6 mm, 2.0 mm x 1.2 mm x 0.85 mm, 3.2 mm x 1.2 mm x 1.2 mm).

The BLM-SN series enable high frequency noise reduction in power supply circuits and are certified AEC-Q200, making them ideal for automotive applications such as infotainment and power train safety applications. There are also non-automotive grade product versions within the BLM-SN series line up ideal for general-purpose power supply circuit usage such as industrial, test equipment, factory automation, and networking.
