Switchable BNC Junction Boxes for Portable Data Collection

STI Vibration Monitoring's BNC junction boxes are the first step to taking portable vibration data more accurately and safely. Accelerometers are installed permanently on the machine to be monitored and wired to the BNC junction box. The portable data collector is connected to the BNC and repeatable measurements can be taken from a safe distance. If desired, the setup can be utilized later as the basis for an online system.

STI Vibration Monitoring’s wide variety of BNC and switch boxes offer a local access point for the machine's sensors. These devices are typically installed within the proximity of the machine being monitored.

The BNC junction boxes provide a BNC output, an MS 5015 2-pin connector, and a rotary switch for a set of up to twelve sensors, or up to 48 sensors can be accommodated with additional BNC outputs, MS 5015 2-pin connectors, and rotary switches. The MS 5015 2-pin connector provides a second option to connect to a data collector. Different enclosure materials, such as stainless steel or fiberglass, are available. The concept and design of these high-quality boxes include a solution where the BNC hatch covers the terminals, referring to the front plate that protects the wiring after the installation.
