Panel Mount Chassis Connectors

Io Audio Technologies' line of locking circular chassis connectors offer a secure data connection for a wide range of industries. Designed to be easy to use, these connectors are mateable with industry-standard XLR connectors. Io Audio Technologies’ family of chassis connectors come in four different series: E, B, JL, and JLX.

The E series offers the most cost-effective design solution in applications where the termination method is to a PCB. It features a compact one-piece all-black plastic housing with gold-plated contacts. The small footprint allows for high packing density. The series comes in vertical and horizontal PCB mount versions with options for three, four, or five pins.

The B series has the same features as the E series with the addition of a metal faceplate. The B series is also available in vertical and horizontal PCB mount versions with options for three, four, or five pins

The JL series offers a robust XLR connection perfect for high-noise environments or design-in applications where the termination method is solder cups. The all-metal housing offers exceptional EMI resistance and RF protection. The connectors have one piece, silver-plated contacts, and a separate tin-plated ground pin that grounds the connector housing and panel. The JL series is available in black or nickel housing with three, four, or five pins.

The JLX series includes the same offerings as the JL series but with a metal-on-metal housing. This housing provides unmatched RF and EMI protection in high RF noise environments, such as broadcasting. The JLX series comes in nickel housing with options for three or five pins.
