Littelfuse is expanding its broad range of transient voltage suppression (TVS) diodes capable of 3000 W Pppm peak pulse power capability at 10 μs/1000 μs waveform

Image of Littelfuse's 3000 W Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) Diode in DO-214AB Package - 3.0SMCJ Series Littelfuse's 3.0SMCJ series comes in an industry-standard DO-214AB low profile package with built-in strain relief providing added protection to the glass passivated chip junction, which provides faster response times: typically less than 1.0 s from 0 V to BV min. They are able to withstand ESD surges of 30 kV in air or contact in accordance with IEC 61000-4-2 standards.

  • 3000 W PPPM peak pulse power capability at 10 μs/1000 μs waveform, repetition rate (duty cycles): 0.01%
  • For surface mounted applications, in order to optimize board space
  • Low profile package
  • Whisker test is conducted based on JEDEC JESD201A per its table 4a and 4c
  • ESD protection of data lines in accordance with IEC 61000-4-2, 30 kV (air), 30 kV (contact)
  • EFT protection of data lines in accordance with IEC 61000-4-4
  • Glass passivated chip junction
  • Fast response time: typically less than 1.0 ps from 0 V to BV min
  • Excellent clamping capability
  • Low incremental surge resistance
  • High temperature to reflow soldering guaranteed: +260°C/40 sec
  • VBR @ TJ = VBR @ 25°C x [1+αT x (TJ - 25)] (αT: temperature coefficient, typical value is 0.1%)
  • UL Recognized compound meeting flammability rating V-0.
  • Meet MSL level1, per J-STD-020, LF maximum peak of +260°C
  • Matte tin lead-free plated
  • Halogen-free and RoHS compliant
  • Pb-free E3 means 2nd level interconnect is Pb-free, and the terminal finish material is tin (Sn) (IPC/JEDEC J-STD609A.01)
