Their temperature sensors are designed for local and remote applications. Thermostat ICs measure temperature and offer a power switch output for temperature-based monitoring and control applications. Fan controller ICs monitor and control fan speed in system cooling applications. On the optical side, Analog Devices offers ambient light sensors, proximity sensors, body-wearable sensors, and optical particle sensing ICs. Their sensor interface ICs provide signal conditioning to extract an accurate signal for monitoring and control systems. Analog Devices' sensor communication ICs accurately communicate the fully conditioned sensor output signal to remote data collection points as an analog voltage, analog current, or a digital signal.
