Image of Stackpole's HVA-Series ResistorsThe HVA-series from Stackpole is a high-voltage, axial leaded series of resistors offering small body sizes. The working voltages of the HVA range from 3,500 V to 8,000 V with 200 ppm TCR.  The HVA is available in resistance values from 1 M ohm up to 1 G ohm in 5% and wider tolerances and 1 M ohm up to 500 M ohm in 1% tolerances.  This high-voltage and high-resistance value capability in small package sizes is ideal for a wide variety of applications including high-voltage power supplies and controls, robotics, medical devices, test equipment, welding equipment, plasma cutters, network equipment, instrumentation, aerospace, and industrial automation.

  • Sizes: 6 mm L X 2.5 mm D rated at 0.5 W, 8.5 mm L X 3 mm D rated at 0.8 W, and 11 mm L X 4 mm D rated at 1.2 W
  • High-resistance values up to 1 G ohm
  • HVA05 rated at 3,500 V working voltage
  • HVA08 rated at 7,000 V working voltage
  • HVA12 rated at 8,000 V working voltage 
  • 200 ppm / °C TCR
  • VCR less than 20 ppm / V
  • Tolerances 1%, 5%, and 10%
  • Voltage ratings from 3,500 V for the 0.5 W size to 8,000 V for the 1.2 W size
