What is Bluetooth?

This tutorial will explain the need for Bluetooth, what it is and how it works.  The different types of Bluetooth profiles will be described and examples of applications will be given. There will also be a discussion of the Bluetooth related technologies, ANT and Bluetooth Low Energy.
