New RF ConnectorsPomona Electronics' RF connectors are used for connection of coaxial cables in communications, instrumentation, aerospace, and industrial applications where bandwidth and low signal loss are critical. As electronic products like cell phones and PDAs have become more compact, connectors to these products have also become smaller. Rather than using standard BNC connectors, today’s technicians need smaller format connectors like SMA, SMB, MCX, and MMCX connector types. To meet this demand, Pomona is introducing a family of new Pomona RF connectors including SMA, SMB, MCX, and MMCX connectors and adapters.

SMA Series SMB Series

MCX Series

  • Snap-on coupling and miniature size for fast connect and disconnect where space is limited

MMCX Series

Features

  • Bandwidth up to 6 GHz depending upon connector
  • 50% smaller than MCX connectors
  • Connectors allow rotation of 360° for layout flexibility
  • Non-slotted contact design for low RF leakage
  • Meet CECC 22340
  • Perfect for applications where space, weight, performance and ease of assembly are required
