Siemens small LOGO! modules perform functions once previously reserved for larger controllers. The latest development brings LOGO! into the cloud. Users are no longer limited by the storage volume of the SD card but can now send data to the cloud. This has the advantage that data can be accessed and edited regardless of location. If values are to be displayed graphically, the freshly revised LOGO! Web Editor enables users to create their own web pages, which are also stored in the cloud. Using the integrated webserver functionality, users can also control or trigger an alarm.

It is easy to connect LOGO! to the cloud with the 8.4 version of the LOGO! Soft Comfort software. Currently, it is possible to use the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, with more options becoming available later.
