Soft Termination MLCC – CS Series

Soft termination is also known as Resin termination or flexible termination, it absorbs any excessive mechanical stress resulting from board flexing or temperature cycling, and it is a better solution than open mode.

Featured with flexible termination system, YAGEO's CS series MLCC can resist at least 3 mm boardflex. Polymer conductive layer between outer electrodes (Ag, Cu) and plated Ni, provides a stress relax function which helps to prevent board flex crack (Mechanical stress) and temperature cycle (Thermal stress).
