RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector - weerstand-/temperatuurdetector)

RTD-temperatuursensors zijn componenten met een veranderende weerstand ten opzichte van de temperatuur. De specifieke metalen die in RTD-sensors worden gebruikt, vertonen een bekende weerstandsverandering wanneer de temperatuur fluctueert. Deze componenten zijn verkrijgbaar in verschillende weerstandswaarden van 10 t/m 1,85 kilo-ohm, elk met een reeks weerstandstoleranties. De verschillende montageopties zijn chassismontage, opbouwmontage, paneelmontage, through-hole en vrijhangend.
